I TRAVEL TO DUBLIN TO HAVE SEX WITH MY WIFE. NOBODY CAN PUT MY MARRIAGE ASUNDER – SEXY STEEL

The singer, whose family is based in Dublin, said this in a recent chat with Saturday Beats. When asked how he handles his sexual urges. He said, “If I am moved sexually, all I need to do is travel to Dublin to meet my wife.”
.
On not wearing wedding band, he said: “As a person, I do not believe in wedding bands. We are not perfect but as a married man, there are some things that you should not be caught doing.
.
As an entertainer, wearing a wedding band translates to chasing my female fans away. If they think that someday they might get married to Sexy Steel, that is fine. It is what they think and it would help me enlarge my female fan base.

.
We are not bankers or doctors, we are in the entertainment business and there can be temptations at times but just keep your marriage away from social media and prying eyes.
.
Ladies love married men and if they want to have anything to do with you, they do not care if you are wearing a wedding ring or not. In fact, the wedding ring is an invitation for them.
.
These ladies believe that married men are so caring and they know how to take care of women. They know how to treat women right. I don’t bring my family to the social media or even the entertainment industry.
.
My family do not even live in Nigeria, they are based in Dublin. I am in Nigeria focused on my work. I am a disciplined person and I can never get carried away by any woman.
.
It is never going to happen. I am focused on the entertainment business and it does not mean that I should lose focus or forget the fact that my family is somewhere. Nobody can put my marriage asunder.”

LAGOS COURT SENTENCES MAN TO DEATH BY HANGING FOR KILLING HIS WIFE WITH ACID

A Lagos High Court in Ikeja yesterday sentenced a man, Sulaiman Olalekan, to death by hanging for the murder of his wife, Mrs. Chika Egbo, on November 20, 2012 by bathing her with acid. Olalekan had allegedly accused the deceased of going back to prostitution against his advice..
.
.
The condemned man reportedly met his wife at a hotel in the Ijeshatedo area of Lagos State, from where they started a relationship that resulted in marriage. The court heard that after the marriage, the husband bought her a second-hand Volkswagen bus and also paid her school fees at the Enugu College of Education.
.
.
But the deceased reportedly reneged on her commitment to the relationship by returning to prostitution, which caused Olalekan to procure acid from a battery charger in the Ikotun area of the state.

He was said to have deceitfully invited her to visit his mother on the said day, an opportunity he used to pour the acid on her. After the victim’s death, the Lagos State government, through the state’s Ministry of Justice, took over the prosecution of the case and filed necessary processes in court.
.
.
The trial judge, Justice Lawal Akapo, in arriving at his judgment, said he believed that the murder of Egbo by Olalekan was premeditated. He, therefore, convicted him for the offence and sentenced him to death accordingly. Olalekan is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan. He had a four year old daughter with the deceased.

OPRAH WINFREY: ‘I WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN A GOOD MUM. I DON’T REGRET NOT HAVING CHILDREN’.

The 63-year-old, who has been with her partner, Stedman Graham, since 1986, told Good Housekeeping magazine that she never wanted to be a mom because she doesn’t have the patience to parent..
“When people were pressuring me to get married and have children, I knew I was not going to be a person that ever regretted not having them, because I feel like I am a mother to the world’s children,” she said.

“Love knows no boundaries. It doesn’t matter if a child came from your womb or if you found that person at age two, 10 or 20. If the love is real, the caring is pure and it comes from a good space, it works.

For me it was perfect, because I didn’t want babies. I wouldn’t have been a good mom for babies. I don’t have the patience. I have the patience for puppies, but that’s a quick stage! But this is so rewarding.”

WOMAN GIVES BIRTH INSIDE A COMMERCIAL BUS IN LAGOS

The woman, who reportedly boarded the bus at Ijede, could not alight at the Sabo Bus Stop, Ikorodu, as other passengers did, making the bus driver and his conductor suspicious, reports Vanguardng

An eyewitness said the conductor started yelling at the woman to get down from the bus, but she could not utter a word as she had fallen into labour. It was said that the conductor, seeing that the woman was in labour, raised the alarm.
.
.
But those around took to their heels, thinking a fight had started between the conductor and miscreants. The eyewitness added that when the shout for help persisted, some LASTMA officials and other sympathisers moved closer, only to discover that the woman was in labour.
.
.
They rendered necessary assistance and the woman delivered a baby girl few minutes after. Both the woman and her newborn were taken to the Health Centre, Ita-Elewa for medical attention.

WOMAN WHO SOLD HER 2-WEEK-OLD BABY FOR N240K, ARRESTED ALONGSIDE THE FACILITATORS.

According to Zanna Ibrahim, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Miss Ewere Samuel had given birth to a baby girl and after two weeks, connived with Mrs. Ngozi Okafor Ojei and her husband, Mr. Edwin Ojei, to sell the baby at the cost of N600,000 to one Mrs. Loveth in Abia State.

She was given her own share of N240,000. Trouble started for Ewere who was known to be pregnant but returned from her trip to Aba, without the pregnancy or a baby. And at the same time was spending money recklessly.

A neighbor suspected and reported to the police. It was when Ewere was arrested that she confessed to having a baby but was sold after two weeks to a woman who Mrs. Ngozi Ojei arranged.
.
.
Ewere said it was her own mother, who is currently on the run, who even prompted that the child be sold after delivery. She was the one who handed her to Mrs. Ngozi Ojei to take to Abia State for delivery and upon delivery, sell the child to any interested buyer.

NO NIGERIAN DIED IN SOUTH AFRICAN XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS – FG

The FG has said no Nigerian died during the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The government on Thursday also urged the South African government to put in place measures to end the incessant attacks on Nigerians in that country.
.
.
The Minister of State Foreign Affairs, Khadija Abba-Ibrahim, gave the task in Abuja during a second summon to the High Commissioner of South Africa to Nigeria, Lulu Aaron-Mnguni, on the issue.
.
.
Nigerian buildings, properties and places of worship worth millions of dollars were destroyed by South Africans on February 5 and 18. “The FG strongly urges the S.A government to take all necessary measures to protect the lives and foreigners living and working in South Africa.
.
.
Furthermore, the FG urges the S.A government to bring perpetrators of these deplorable acts of violence to justice. The ministry continues to urge Nigerians in South Africa to remain calm and law abiding, and be vigilant at the same time,” she added.
The minister said no Nigerian lost their lives in the attacks contrary to reports in some media. According to her, the reports that mentioned the killing of Nigerians in the xenophobic attacks are unsubstantiated.
.
.
“The ministry has not received the report of any death of Nigerian in the latest incidents of attacks against foreigners. The Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria is in constant touch with the Nigerian Union in S.A, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) of S.A, as well as the S.A police.
.
.
All these agencies have confirmed that no Nigerian life was lost in the recent incident,” she said. The minister said the government was in touch with S.A authorities to ensure the safety of Nigerians there. The minister therefore appealed to the media not to fuel the crisis further with unconfirmed reports.

Nigeria students to south Africans: Vacate from Nigeria before 48 hrs

8 hours ultimatum to all South African companies in Nigeria to relocate over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. The students gave the ultimatum at a peaceful demonstration at some South African companies in Abuja on Thursday. During the march the students carried a banner, which read: ‘’NANS against Xenophobic Attacks on Nigerians.’’ While the students marched, the security men stood and watched to ensure law and order. The President of NANS, Mr Kadiri Aruna, said in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at DSTV office, a South African company, in Wuse 2, Abuja, that Nigerian students had resolved to condemn the attacks.

“We are saying that enough is enough as South Africans have openly attacked and bullied Nigerians.’’ Aruna said that the protest would also serve as a warning to other countries trying to underrate Nigerians. He said that after 48 hours, if nothing was done, messages would be sent to students in all university campuses to bring down MTN masts all over the country. Aruna said that DSTV and Shoprite would also be affected as the union had put adequate strategies in place to make the action effective. “All the South African business empires in Nigeria and their collaborators in Nigeria will be affected. Xenophobic Attacks:Nigerians protesting against xenophobic attacks in South Africa at the South African High Commission, in Abuja, Photos: Gbemiga Olamikan.

“I don’t want to say we will be barbaric but we will not be lawful in our actions, we will do it and face the consequences, enough of this rubbish,’’ he said. Aruna stressed that the poor treatment being meted out to Nigerians was particularly insulting given the role Nigeria played in ending the apartheid regime in South Africa. “Nigeria contributed 80 per cent of the freedom the South Africans are enjoying today because we saved them from the jaws of apartheid. “Who is South Africa to humiliate Nigeria? So they forget things so soon, let them go back to history and records to see how much financial assistance and what the country did to save them,’’ he said.

The union president said that the situation was inhuman and for this reason all reasonable Nigerians must react. “In science they say you use malaria to cure malaria, now you use madness to cure their madness, and that is why we are advising them to leave Nigerian soil before 48 hours.’’ He said that the Federal Government should not wait till the dying minute before evacuating Nigerians from South Africa. Aruna said it was time for government not to only condemn the attacks but take a firm stand by summoning South Africa’s high commissioner and if possible cut diplomatic ties with that country.

“Government should take extra-diplomatic measures in dealing with the latest deadly assaults because if nothing drastic is done it will become a regular occurrence. “This is the time to place South Africa where it belongs,’’ he said. He said that the last time the xenophobic attack happened nothing was done, no action was taken and no arrest was made and that was why South Africans repeated the attacks. Aruna said it was so unfortunate that during the attacks the South African Government refused to take up its responsibility of securing Nigerians and their properties.

“The government of South Africa is criminally quiet and they say silence is consent, and their police are folding their hands while they are killing Nigerians, this is conspiracy, enough is enough,’’ he said. He said the peaceful rally would continue and spread across the country. Over 50 police and, DSS operatives surrounded the DSTV premises and along the street making it impossible for newsmen to contact any DSTV officials for comments.
