Yoruba actress Aisha Abimbola popularly known as Omoge Campus, sat down for an interview with The Sun where she talked about her career, marriage and more.

Can you tell us how you came into acting?

I came into‎ acting through divine intervention; it wasn’t what I was thinking of at that particular time. I was rounding off my HND programme at LASPOTECH when Wale Adenuga Productions came to shoot in my school. The director gave me an opportunity to play a particular character, which another actress supposed to play but wasn’t on set that day. And that began my acting career.

How old are you in the industry?

I came into the industry officially in 2002.

Do you have any regret coming into the movie industry?

Regret? The only regret is that we don’t‎ get funds to produce films; we don’t get the support we ought to be getting. And usually those who don’t understand what we are doing, those who find it hard to separate your person from the character you play in movies, harass us. Sometimes fans and friends attack you verbally and emotionally. But then I have no regret. I am coping well or what else can I do? I remember a day when armed robbers attacked us on location. We were spared just because one of them fell in love with the way I handle guns in movies. And instead of robbing us, they left us unharmed.

How were you able to cast fuji musician, Alabi Pasuma, in your movie?

I started my relationship with Pasuma when I was called to feature in his musical video, Desperado. Initially, I wasn’t interested but his producer called me and I later agreed to do it. While shooting the video, I liked the way he did things and I promised to invite him the moment I was ready to shoot my first movie. And God made it happen.

What is that particular thing that distinguishes you from other actors?

I’m down to earth.

How have you been coping as a single mother and actress?

From where did you get that gist? Who told you I’m a single mother? I’m not a single mother and I reject to be one.

But there was news recently that you separated from your actor husband.

Can you act nude?

Nude? Did I just hear you say nude? You mean act without my clothes on? Me? Act stack naked? Never! Not in this lifetime.

What’s the extent you can go while acting?

I have done some few pecks and hugs. Call me a shy person. Yes, I have been able to kiss once on set. I remember I kissed once and that was the father of my kids, then we were married.

What is your advice for up and coming actors?

Don’t ever try to be anybody, be original and don’t get desperate. There are bad eggs everywhere; people will definitely want to play upon your intelligence. Don’t allow people to use you, your destiny is in your hands.

Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, revealed on social media yesterday that he survived a ghastly accident.

The actor took to Instagram to share a photo of the bad state of his car after the accident he survived.

His post stirred reactions from fans and well wishers, but none from actress Toyin Aimakhu who has admitted that they are yet to dissolve their marriage.

The actor wrote;

Few hours after he asked YBNL boss to clear him up on the lyrics of his hit single ‘Wo’, Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid has declared the Olamide’s hit single the ‘biggest Naija song 2017’.

International Musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj has finally reacted to Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim that he is talentless.

Eedris Abdulkareem called out D’banj in a recent video, saying the musician was talentless and stupid for leaving Don jazzy.  According to Eedris ,D’banj “lacked talent and all he has is ‘razzmatazz’”.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, the Kokomaster as he is fondly called bared his mind on Eedris’ claim.

He said;

“At first, I did not see the video where Eedris spoke about me and initially, I thought it was something else till people sent me the video. I have seen different videos of him talking about different artistes that are young enough to be his kids. I would have thought that if he was such a role model, there were better ways he could pass his message across but I have nothing against him. I have nothing more to say about him. I feel people just have different ways of expressing themselves.”

International music superstar, Wizkid made history last night by becoming the first African musical artiste with a sold out show at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London.

Wizkid gave a world class performance starting with all his hit songs while he was with EME records to a hall that was filled with over 5000 guests featuring an array of different races.

The superstar who also had Wande Coal with him to share the moment, promised the audience that his next move is to sell out the O2 Arena next year and after making history yesterday.

Djinee Feels Luckty To Have His Parents For This Reason

Nigerian Musician and song writer,Osayamwen Nosa Donald Popularly known as Djinee recently revealed in an interview with punch Saturday beats that he is lucky to have parents that don’t pressure him about marriage.

The Ego Hit song crooner also said he isn’t in any relationship at the moment.

Here’s what he said

“A doctor cannot treat himself. Currently, I am single and there is no love item in my life. It is not a must to be in a relationship. I can be preaching about love through my songs and carry it into the kingdom but it just might be that God has designed it that I would not see that kingdom. The job we do is a tough job. I would be easily distracted. Some people can manage the stress but I cannot and I am being honest. I have been single for a while and I have tried to be in relationships but it just did not work out. I like women. I’m lucky to have parents that don’t pressure me about marriage. As an Edo guy, they don’t put pressure on me, besides, if the pressure comes and I hurriedly get married, they would not be the one to live with the person.”

The singer who has being in the industry for over a decade, also said that he has no baby mama and doubts he can ever be in that situation.

“I don’t know how people do it and get baby mamas but it cannot happen to me because I cannot handle it. To avoid such a scenario, I try to be as disciplined as I can. It is not easy but I try and I love children a lot. A lot of my closest friends are single mothers and they know how much I love their children. I try to be disciplined. I would say that I am very lucky not to have encountered people that would pin me down with pregnancies and some of my exes know that I am not ready for a child. I always have that discussion early in a relationship.”

FORMER MFM PASTORS AND MEMBERS ACCUSE G.O OLUKOYA OF FRAUD IN US PROPERTY DISPUTE

The G.O of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Daniel Olukoya, is in the spotlight in a US court after his church dragged some former pastors and members to court over monetary and property disputes.

MFM is seeking declaratory judgment and damages against Pastors Lawrence Adetunji, Ronke Adetunji, and 11 former members of MFM, Bowie, Maryland.

At issue are real property described as 5506 and 5503 Church Road in Bowie, Maryland, which were acquired by MFM Bowie in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Also in contention are funds for the MFM building in Bowie.

MFM International (Lagos) claims that the property acquired with the contributions and offerings of the members of MFM in Bowie, are property of MFM headquarters by way of trust.

The plaintiffs claim further that when Pastor Adetunji and most members of MFM in Bowie decided not to associate further with the denomination, Pastor Adetunji was under an obligation to hand over the properties and funds to MFM headquarters.

In their response, the defendants allege that they decided to sever their relationship with MFM and its leadership because of the illegal and fraudulent activities of MFM International, Lagos.

.They allege that MFM International was in the practice of knowingly and deliberately making false claims to evade U.S. Customs duties and taxes on books exported from Nigeria to U.S.

.

The nature of the illegal activities stems from the fact that the plaintiffs would ship prayer books to various U.S.-based MFM branches with a cover letter categorizing the books as “donations” to be distributed to local parishioners.

.

However, once delivered to the U.S, instructions were then emailed to U.S. pastors instructing them of the price they must charge parishioners in selling these books. The pastors were then instructed to remit the earnings of their sales to MFM International.

Some Officers of MFM International, including the G.O, Daniel Olukoya are expected to get into the witness box at the hearing.

Ogungbe said during his radio show on Kennis FM that he was sure that the brothers have a massive show coming up soon and all the fight and social media drama was just a publicity stunt.

“I am sure they have a massive show coming up in December and they are using this as a publicity stunt. They have over 100 songs and people who called us on the radio within 15 minutes, requested for about 29 of their songs.”

“If you are breaking up after recording about 100 songs, will you break up to record another big song as a solo artiste? At what age? How many songs are they going to release that would be up to what they have released already? At what age do they want to do that when people are interested in listening to songs released by younger artistes? Quote me anywhere that I said it is a game. It seems we have not heard the last of reactions from Eedris Abdulkareem‘s explosive interview as one of the artists he called out in the interview, Timaya has responded to claims that he was an ingrate to Eedris.

In the interview, Eedris has called Timaya an ingrate saying that he helped Timaya become who he is today and he has refused to help other artists save for Patoranking.

In a bid to increase its usage in Nigeria, Wikipedia has stared Veteran, Nollywood actor Pete Edochie and Kid comedian Emmanualla in two promotional video adverts.

The promotional videos are titled “things come together” and “Emmanuella goes to school”.

Pete Edochie starred as a village Chief in an Eastern community while Emmanulla starred as a pupil who ‘wowed’ a lecturer with her knowledge and got invited to join a class of tertiary institution students.

Emmanuella along with Mark Angel Comedy has for a couple years held social media audience spell bound with her video skits. She is well known for “This is my real face” skit.

Fresh, dazzling and alluring! Flavour presents the video for, “Nnekata“, the eighth single off his current album, “Ijele- The Traveler.”

The video for the Masterkraft produced jam, was shot by popular Nollywood film director, Tchidi Chikere.

“Nnekata” video sees Flavour’s character swooning over the woman he loves, admiring all aspects of her beauty.

Chikere adds elements of traditional Igbo film narrative to this video, exhibited in the costumes and serene village surroundings, of where the video was filmed.

The lead, Nnekata – played by Atlanta based actress, Mercy Isoyip, coyly entices her admirer Flavour, who despite her resistance, seems to enjoy the ‘chase.’
