Davido’s first babymama, Sophia Momodu has offered him some encouragement following his recent woes over his friend, Tagbo’s death.

The relationship between Davido and his first baby mama, Sophie Momodu, appears to have blossomed into something concrete and admirable after the nasty custody for their daughter, Imade.

Watch CCTV Footage Released By Davido To Prove His Innocence In Tagbo’s Death

Embattled Nigerian afro-pop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has released a video footage of the scene purported to be his last meeting with his late friend, Tagbo Umeike.

Davido released the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage to absolve himself of any complicity in the death of late Umeike and to clear his name.

The police had on Wednesday said Umeike died from suffocation and that Davido lied during questioning.

The singer subsequently took to Instagram to react to the development, saying, “soon a statement and footage will be released”.

In three-part video footage posted on Davido’s Instagram page, the late Tagbo, Davido himself, and a host of other friends were seen outside the ‘Shisha Room’ which served as the venue of one Clark Adeleke’s birthday party

In what appeared to be a minor scuffle between those standing outside the ‘Shisha Room’, Tagbo was captured drunk and staggering while he took part in the scuffle. Some friends appeared to be holding him back from starting what would seem like a fight.

Later he was led back by an unidentified friend into the ‘Shisha Room’.

Meanwhile, all these took place besides Davido’s car as the ‘If’ crooner was about to leave the venue of the birthday party around 12;23am on Tuesday 3rd October, 2017.

DJ Olu’s Father Recounts Last Moments With Late Son And It’s So Touching

Late DJ Olu’s father, Dapo Abiodun during the burial recalled the last moments he had with his son and how he would miss him revealing that he questioned God for the kind of tragedy that has befallen on him.

He said:

“We were very close. I remember I would report Olu to my mother and she would say a tree doesn’t fall from a tree. I saw him for the last time last week Sunday when we had lunch; Olu was always wanting to please me. He was supposed to go back to Coventry last week for his postgraduate school but he begged me to allow him to stay for just one week because he wanted to commission his petrol station and car wash business.

I begged him to go to school promising him that I would help do everything while he was away but he refused. If he had gone back to school, he wouldn’t have died. I pray that I don’t have to reciprocate this kind of visit to anyone present here.”

The service was very emotional as speaker after speaker poured eulogies on the late DJ Olu who was found dead alongside a friend, Chime Okafor last Saturday.

Seni Saraki, son of Senate President Bukola Saraki, spoke about how the late DJ Olu was like the elder brother he never had and would really miss him.

DJ Olu’s mom, Bidemi Abiodun said she would miss his son, adding that his death has shattered a part of her life but she will remain strong because she knew he was resting within the bosom of the Lord, while his brother called him his mentor and friend.

DJ Olu’s elder sister said she saw him as an elder brother even though she was older.

Also present at the service include several of his entertainment colleagues like Mayorkun, Naeto C, and Davido’s manager Asa Asika.

Jude Okoye, has come out to support Davido over the crisis he has found himself following the death of his friend Tagbo.

According to Jude, Davido, has no hands in the death of the young man and his only offence was asking that Tagbo be taken to the hospital.

Late DJ Olu Finally Laid To Rest

DJ Olu, Davido’s friend and son of business man,  Dapo Abiodun has been buried by his family in Lagos yesterday after he passed away on Saturday October 7th.

There was a Service of Songs in DJ Olu’s honour on Wednesday October 11th, 2017 at Olaniwun Ajayi Gardens in Banana Island.

Funeral service Held at Emmanuel’s Chapel in Banana Island and interment followed at Ikoyi vaults.

Watch Lagos State Commissioner Bare It All On Tagbo, DJ Olu And Chime’s Deaths

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Imohimi Edgar addressed journalists and shared new details surrounding the recent deaths of Mr Tagbo Umeike,  DJ Olu and Chime Amaechi on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017

Speaking on Tagbo’s death, the commissioner revealed that he had a meeting with Tagbo’s family, Davido and Caroline Danjuma whom he referred to Tagbo’s fiancee.

He also spoke on DJ Olu and Chime Amaechina’s death saying that substances suspected to be hard drugs were recovered in DJ Olu’s car. He revealed that investigation is still ongoing and the substances discovered in the car have been taken for analysis to determine what exactly they are.

Davido Reacts To Reports On His Arrest And Here’s What He Has To Say

In the wake of several conflicting reports on the death of Tagbo Umeike, Davido who was said to have been arrested has reacted to new report.

The Nigerian singer was invited by the police commissioner for the second time today alongside his friends, who were later detained after Tagbo’s autopsy revealed that he died of asphyxiation, instead of the singer’s crew alleged claims that he died from excess alcohol intake.

Recall, Tagbo’s friend and actress, Caroline Danjuma, accused Davido and his team of dumping Tagbo’s body at a general hospital in Lagos Island and fled.

Davido who got back, few hours ago, apparently, had this to say;

Two Of Davido’s Crew Members Arrested Over Tagbo’s Death

Two of Davido’s boys who were captured by CCTV as the men who dropped late Tagbo at the hospital have been arrested by the Police.

Recall that it was reported that two of Davido’s guys, dropped Tagbo at the hospital and when he reportedly died before the nurse got to their car, the allegedly refused to give their contacts.

The Two have been arrested by the Lagos State police command, a source close to the situation told LIB exclusively.

The two men were captured by a CCTV camera in the hospital while they brought Tagbo in. After initially claiming to have left Shisha lounge (the last place Tagbo was seen alive) before the incident happened, Davido personally brought the two men to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police on Wednesday.

It’s been revealed that Tagbo died of suffocation and not alcohol intoxication. The boys are currently at Police Lion Building in Lagos Island.
