Denrele Bares It All On His Relationship Status And Plans To Have Children

Popular media personality Denrele Edun, has revealed just how much he loves kids and would want to have them.

In a recent interview with Premium Times, Edun talked about dating, marriage and kids.

PT: Do you have a girlfriend?

Derenle: For now, No. I am very single. The girls did not let me be, so now I am trying to put myself in right perspective.

PT: When was the last time you kissed a girl?

Derenle: A few weeks ago. Her name is Ada Slim.
It was a correct kiss. And no we never dated. I went to her birthday and I didn’t bring her a gift. So it was a birthday kiss. Someone took our photograph and the kiss went viral. I even posted it on my Instagram page. I love kissing; kissing is sweet.
PT: Do you dream of having children?

Derenle: I cannot wait to have children. I am obsessed with children. I think two children will be fine. A boy and a girl and I am done. My celebrity friends always come and dump their children in my house. I understand children more than many people out there. I know I act like them because there is a little kid in all of us and may be because I used to be a teacher. I took up a teaching job after I left secondary school and I read English Education at the University of Lagos. So I understand the behavioural pattern of kids. And children love that I can understand and listen to them

PT: Would you like your children to act and be like you?

Derenle: This is my expression of my individualism. If my father who is a Yoruba man did not try to change me and fought all the oppositions both family members and extended family members, the church and outside world, I will allow my children to express themselves.

PT: Since you are not with any woman right now, why not try baby daddy?

Derenle: If I became a baby daddy, I will take the child from the woman. I love children too much. I will be a perfect father figure. Marriage will come when it will come. Love is important to me and I must really be in love to marry. I am not in love with anyone. I am way past that. I love easily and I like easily.

Davido Finally Released By The Lagos State Police After Murder Allegations

Davido’s lawyer exclusively that the singer has been allowed to go about his business after meeting with the police.

Yesterday, ‘IF’ crooner David Adeleke took to his Insta stories to thank everyone who prayed for him, revealing that he has forgiven every single person, media house or blog that accused him of having a hand in the demise of his late friend, Tagbo Umeike. The singer further stated that he’s ready to now go back to making music.

Speaking exclusively to LIB, a member from Davido’s legal team led by Norrison I. Quakers, SAN revealed that the singer has been released by the Police to go about his business as he’s not guilty.

“We’ve been to Panti and my client has given a statement there too. It’s clear from all the investigation, evidence and statements given so far that David was not at any point with the deceased after he left him alive at Shisha room as as such he’s been released to go about his business.

Of course if called on to give any more information he would gladly. But in truth he only knew so much about the night and has reproduced this

Former US President Barack Obama has handpicked artist Kehinde Wiley to paint his official Presidential portrait, Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery announced.

Wiley is best known for his pieces showing African-Americans in hip-hop gears, with poses referencing classic paintings.

Former first lady Michelle Obama also selected African-American artist Amy Sherald to paint her portrait.

The Obamas’ portraits will be unveiled in early 2018, and will become an addition to the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.

Sherald is the first woman to win first place in the National Portrait Gallery’s Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition, which she won in 2016.

Kehinde Wiley was born in 1977 to a Nigerian father and an African-American mother.

More Details On Tagbo’s Death As Family Release Burial Arrangements

Two of Davido’s friends and his driver are reportedly still behind bars for their allegedly involvement in the death of 35-year-old Tagbo Umeike.

The boys, Agbaje Olaoye and Idris Busari, were detained after Davido brought them to the station to see the commissioner of Police in Ikeja, last week. They were arrested for abandoning Tagbo at the hospital on October 2nd.

Inside sources according to LIB claim two more persons have also been arrested in connection with the incident. They are all at Panti.

Burial date for late Tagbo Umeike has been released.

According to reports, the 35-year old who died on october 2nd, will be buried at his family compound in Anambra state this Friday, October 20th.

Autopsy carried out on the deceased showed that he died from suffocation. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Popular Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker and his wife, Adjoa took to Instagram to celebrate 14 blissful years of marriage.

The couple have actually known each other for 23 long years, and according to the actor, it has been an absolute delight to watch his sweetheart’s “face and body metamorphose…”

Sharing multiple collages, mostly unauthorised copies of his wife’s old pictures on his Instagram timeline yesterday, October 16 2017, the actor says;

A View Into The Boisterous Life Of Comic Actor, Mr Ibu

John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, is a Nollywood actor, script writer and comedian who is arguably one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters.

His humorous acting is often characterised by foolhardiness, hilarious imbecility and an utmost disconnection from reality.

Early Life

John Okafor who was born on 17 October 1961 is from a family of 8. He is an indigene of Umunekwu Village in Eziokwe, Kanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. He had his primary school education at one of the schools in the village, had his secondary school education at a number of schools in delta state, and then to the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu, where he studied Mass Communication.

Acting Career

His journey into the industry was in 1978, when he appeared in a commercial in a soap opera. From that time forward, the hilarious actor has been involved in scores of movies, including some with Aki and Pawpaw, both of whom he enjoys working with, because of their creativity. He came into limelight in 2004 in one of the movies he was featured titled “MR IBU” which actually gave him the popular nick name: MR IBU because of his funny role as a father of a troublesome kid. He has since acted in over 200 movies including Mr.Ibu (2004), Mr.Ibu in London (2004), Police Recruit (2003), 9 Wives (2005), Ibu in Prison (2006) and Keziah (2007).

Personal Life

Mr Ibu got married to Stella Marris in 2015. He has three children. He lost his first son Emmanuel Okafor which he allegedly blamed on his ex-wife.

In 2014, he won Best Movie Actor of the Year award by the Peace Ambassadors Of Nigeria.

In 2015, he received the ‘best comedian’ award from the governor of Enugu State

He has also won awards for Best Comedy Drama, African Magic Viewer Choice Award and other International awards

In continuation of the process for the setting up of a Real Madrid Academy in Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike on Monday toured training facilities of Real Madrid Football Club.

The governor met with officials of the club, football star, Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, where further modalities were discussed.

Mr. Wike was accompanied on the inspection tour by the State Commissioner of Sports, Boma Iyaye, and former Nigerian international, Adokiye Amiesimaka.

Vice President of Interact Sports, Mr. Kazma and officials of Real Madrid led Mr. Wike and his entourage on a guided tour of the Real Madrid Training Facility.

In the meeting with Real Madrid stars, Ronaldo and Ramos, Mr. Wike said that the objective of setting up the Real Madrid Academy in Rivers State is to develop stars that would rule the world in the nearest future

“We are using football as one of the key empowerment programmes for the next generation. We want to grow international football stars from a tender age.
“We will tap from the experience and exposure of Real Madrid and their stars. This is a project that will revolutionise football in Rivers State and Nigeria,” Mr. Wike noted.

He assured that the academy to be established in the state will be of international standard and will take into consideration the education of the children.

Prince William and his wife Kate are expecting their third baby in April, Kensington Palace announced on Tuesday.

The couple — the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — were “delighted” to confirm the month their child is due to be born, a brief statement said.

The Duchess, 35, was recently suffering severe morning sickness, like with her previous two pregnancies, and has been forced to cancel a royal engagement for medical treatment at home.

She is due to visit Norway and Sweden with William on an official visit early in 2018.

The couple already have two children: Prince George, born in 2013, and Princess Charlotte, aged two.

Following actress Caroline Danjuma accusing him of having a had in the death of Tagbo and his visits to the station, Davido, who has been cleared have come out to say he has forgiven everyone who said he had a hand in the death of his late friend.
