Musician Iceberg Slim is hinting about an incoming proposal to his girlfriend, Juliet Ibrahim. In a post on Snapchat, he shared a photo of the Ghanaian actress with her hand on display and wrote:

“That ring finger is looking bare, I should do something about that.”

Juliet Ibrahim is a Ghanaian actress, film producer, singer and humanitarian of Lebanese, Liberian and Ghanaian descent.

The Ghanaian actress has found love in the arms of US born Nigerian rapper, Iceberg Slim as they have been posting each others photos on their pages with lovely messages.

We want to believe that everything is okay with the marriage of popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson. A check on her Instagram handle indicates that all pictures related to her husband have been removed from the page.

She deleted all pictures of her husband, even some pictures her husband took with the kids, some beautiful videos of them bonding, as well as some other photos.

How Mr Ibu Was Robbed Off N14M Cash And Properties

Armed robbers on Saturday morning attacked Nollywood comedian, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, at his Lagos residence, carting away about N14.3m cash as well as properties.

According to The Nation, the robbers struck in the morning and carted away about N14.3m cash as well as other expensive properties.

Mr Ibu revealed that the matter has been reported to the police. He added that his wife was at home when the men of the night attacked.

“According to my wife, the operation started at about 3am and lasted till about 4:25am this morning after which they left with all my property and cash,” Mr Ibu said on Saturday.

In an exclusive chat with LIB, the comic actor said he was away in Enugu when the robbers attacked his home in the Ikate area of Lagos state on January 4th.

”My wife, children and in-law were sleeping when the robbers attacked. According to my wife, they came in around 3am. They broke the doors and gained entrance inside the house. They were asking where is Mr Ibu. Maybe they planned to come and kill me but I was not there. They carted away N1 million cash that was meant for renovations being done in my house, my expensive watches. Four out of the 12 watches that were stolen cost N8 million because they were N2 million each gold watches that somebody bought for me.The others were N500,000, N400,000 N300, 000 watches. I love big watches. My wife’s gold and other jewelries were also stolen. They also stole four phones that I left in the house. Thankfully, they did not injure anyone of them”

Mercy Aigbe’s Husband Opens Up On Why He Missed Her 40th Birthday Party Celebration

Lanre Gentry, estranged husband of actress, Mercy Aigbe has opened up on why he missed her 40th birthday party which has been the talk of the town.

In a chat with Punch Saturday Beats, Gentry revealed why he was absent at his wife’s 40th birthday party especially at a time people felt they were making reconciliatory moves.

“The main reason I was not at her birthday party was that  I was not in Nigeria on that day. I travelled to Dubai and I returned on Wednesday. Despite the fact that I was not in the country, I bought her a birthday cake and other gifts I would not want to mention because it is an issue between husband and wife,” he said.

While reacting to the news that his wife has started following him on Instagram again, Gentry, said he did not notice when she ‘unfollowed’ him on the micro-blogging site in the first place on account of his numerous followers. He also insisted that he had no problem with his wife.

He said, “Mercy and I are not fighting. We talk every day.  I know that in the birthday wish I sent to her via Instagram, I wrote that we are still fighting but what I actually meant was not a real fight but the normal lovers’ quarrel. I am a very peaceful person and I don’t like fighting, most times, I compare myself to water which has no enemy.

“Mercy follows me on Instagram, so, I was surprised that the news went round that she is following me again. If she had ‘unfollowed’ me before, there was no way I would have noticed because I have a lot of followers on Instagram.”

Recall that he sparked reconciliation speculations when he took to social media to wish her happy birthday.

He said in the post, “Today, you are @40. Even though we are fighting I still say happy birthday to you because you are still my wife and my children mother as I use to call you ones again happy birthday to you Mercy Aigbe Gentry. Long life and God bless you (sic).”

The actress further fuelled the speculation when she began to follow her estranged husband on Instagram again. Despite the birthday wish, her husband’s absence at her birthday party was conspicuous.

This Is Why Eedris Abdulkareem Will Forever Be Grateful To Kenny Ogungbe

Nigerian artiste, Eedris Abdulkareem has revealed why he will forever be loyal and grateful to his one-time label boss, Kenny Ogungbe.

In a chat with Punch, the singer revealed how Kenny Ogungbe, fondly called Baba Keke, helped to shape his life.

He said,

“My wedding day was a very lavish one and Baba Keke was my best man. I chose Baba Keke to be my best man because he has always been like the father I never had. I lost my father when I was only three years old. When I was still at Kennis Music, I went to collect my royalties when I met Baba Keke and he called me aside to give me a piece of advice.

“He told me that he really loved me and that was why he was advising me. He told me that I should make sure I got married as soon as possible. He advised me to ensure that I married only one woman and I should not let any woman other than my wife bear children for me. I agreed with him. He further told me to make sure I did not waste my sperm on different women. He told me to settle down and be a responsible man. That advice has helped shaped my life since then. A lot of girls I dated at the time were not happy with my choice of wife but I was happy about it. In fact, I intentionally avoided throwing a bachelor party because I knew something could happen that night that would ruin my marriage. After we got married, we went on a honeymoon and my wife got pregnant a month later.”

The ‘Nigeria jaga jaga ’ singer told Saturday Beats that the instant he laid eyes on his wife, he knew she was going to be his wife. Just like a scene from a Nollywood movie, the singer said that the first time he saw her, she was a damsel in distress.

“I was on my way to the video shoot of my song, ‘Life in Yankee’ when I saw a lady trying to fix the tyre on her car. I take everything that has to do with marriage very spiritual because God says that if you want a wife we should ask him. So, I had prayed for a very long time for God to give me a wife that would compliment me. Immediately I saw her, I parked and helped her fix the tyre. Immediately I saw her, I could feel that she was my wife.

He said, “When I parked to help her, my mind told me she was going to be my wife. The first thing I looked out for was whether there was a ring on her finger. I needed to be sure that she was not married. I also noticed that there was a child in her car.

“So, I thought she was either married or a single parent. While I was still assisting her with the tyre, her brother showed up. So, I took him aside to ask if she was married and he said she was not. I enquired about the child and her brother confirmed to me that it was his. I later got her house address from him.”

Not leaving things to chance, the singer said that he went to the house the next day and when he knocked on the door, he was confronted by her father.

Abdulkareem said, “Luckily, he recognised me. He said he had seen me before on television. The father asked what I was doing in his house and I explained to him that I came to see his daughter, Yetunde, and he welcomed me.

“I admitted to him that she did not invite me to the house but I came because I did not want my wife to run away. Eventually, she came to meet me but was furious because she did not invite me to her house.

“I apologised for the intrusion then explained to her that I wanted to marry her and did not care how long it would take because God told me that she was my wife.

“I was not afraid to open up to her in her father’s house because I prayed and fasted for four years before I met her. She was really furious but I tried my best to apologise. When her father heard all I had said. he asked if I was truly serious and my reply was affirmative.

“I later got her number but it took me another six months to convince her that I was not fooling her and that was how it started. She felt that as a very popular musician I had women flocking to me. We are still together 16 years after.”

Comedian Kenny Blaq in an interview has just made a revelation about his life into stardom. The popular comedian claims not so much has changed about him since he found fame

Kenny Blaq whose real name is Otolorin Kehinde, also confesses that he still finds time to visit local canteens to eat amala when he’s craving a meal and you will still see him on okada when he has the need to commute fast.

He said:

Stardom has not changed anything about me. I still go to the local amala joint in my area to eat. I wear slippers whenever I am taking a stroll on my street, I still ride on okada.

I think the little way stardom may have changed me is that it has made me wiser and helped me to identify my true friends. There are some friends who are there because I am Kenny Blaq and there are the real friends who are with me because I am Kehinde.

On relationships, the comedian complained that it is quite difficult to find true love

He said:

It is hard for a star to find true love. For instance, if I say that I want to get married today and I don’t have a girlfriend, it would be difficult to get a girl that loves me for who I am because everybody loves Kenny Blaq.

It is really tough finding someone that really loves you. Besides that, I don’t have privacy anymore because I cannot take a walk on the street without being afraid of kidnappers. I am scared they might kidnap me.
